Eureka!

Set off on an adventure with C and the children this morning.  The plan was to get a bus towards Halifax and take them to a play village just outside Halifax.  Got there with no problem on the hourly bus to find that they had unexpectedly had to close for the day due to staff illness.  One very sad little girl later we thought we’d try to get into Halifax and take them to Eureka (they have got annual passes).  No buses due on that route for quite a while so we decided to walk to the main road, just passing the second bus stop en route when I was double checking the timetable and amazingly a bus appeared!  Hooray, the other passengers were grumbling about how late it was, how lucky for us.
So Granny now has her annual pass for Eureka which will come in useful I am sure.  They had a great time and the bus back was a doddle!  Good job I’ve had all my bus pass walker experience.
