After the Rain

The rain drove my son-in-law's birthday BBQ indoors but a fine time was had by all. I know I did. I met some new folks, reconnected with others, revisited a memory of a "back in the day" visit when one of their friends had visited us in Maine and I took him to Moodys' Diner for blueberry pie, oohed and ahhhed at the twin babies, laughed at the antics of the older kids, and ate too much. 

By the time folks had headed home with left over bbq ribs and gourmet mac'ncheese, the rains had finally ended, the air seemed cleaner somehow, and the greenery glistened.

Like I said, a fine time was had by all and now ... the adventure continues.
