Special Memories

Apologies for blipping a flower on such a sunny day, but this means so much to me.
When I moved into a new property close to my grandparents there was a beautiful peony in the garden. After a few years I was on the move again and Grandad asked if he could take a cutting for his garden.
Unfortunately, I lost my grandfather last year and when asked whether there was anything I wished from his bungalow I asked for a cutting of the peony that he had nurtured.
We shared cuttings around the family, so hopefully we will all get great results.
I have had 1 bud which came into bloom today.
