Carried away with papier mache
Having never made or been involved with a pinata before, I was unsure how thick to make this one for Lily's birthday party on Saturday. So we used a cereal packet and then some layers of papier mache. But it's always the same for me when doing papier mache.... Its one of those things where you don't know when to stop.
Because I'm backblipping (is that the word?) I can confirm that I did indeed get carried away.....with the following results....
The pinata was solid.
We didn't realise how weedy little children are.
Gordon had to step in and assist.
That's when the stick snapped in half.
No children or animals were hurt.
It was hilarious.
