The getaway

We were on the road for 6:30 for the two hour drive to Pisa Airport. A beautiful morning with valley fog and crystal clear light and the Arno running coloured after recent rain. The flight was two hours delayed and had no catering. Windy on final Edinburgh approach.

Blip is last big Arno curve before Pisa. Land still divided up into neat strips with once little settlements maybe perched just above the regular floods. Musignano and San Sisto Al Pino.
