Birthday party

For my 88 year old twin aunts, as a family we are spread across the south west from Taunton to Ashburton and North Devon. The Old Well near Cullompton looked after us all exceptionally with sandwiches, Cream teas and a special birthday cake.
At chapel earlier a 90 year old member of the congregation had a nasty fall in the road whilst stepping onto the pavement, the ambulance took 90 minutes to arrive before taking her to hospital. Halfway through the service I received a call from J her mother had fallen in her bedroom and they were waiting for the ambulance.
J’s mum has a broken shoulder, no fun at 90 year’s old.
