Crown to Couture

We made our first visit to Kensington Palace, in Hyde Park, this afternoon. As well as an exhibition about Queen Victoria's childhood, there was an exhibition comparing attitudes to fashion in the Georgian court with celebrity fashion today. It made an interesting point, although I have to confess I had not heard of many of the 'celebrities' whose clothes were exhibited. One of the best things was that there were seats in most rooms where the public could sit to rest their weary feet.
