My view

First day with the new students today - I have a small group which is nice and I think I’ll enjoy working with them.
The view will be mine for most afternoons as mornings are spent in the office preparing, marking etc. It was good to be in the classroom again.
I’m still getting used to the idea that people speak English and they’ll understand me. Confused about crossing the road.. self-serve checkouts are a novelty but the bagging thing is different in every store..
