Although his scorpion tipped tail is prominent, he doesn't sting, he's harmless, these scorpion flies typically steal food from spiders webs & that's exactly what this one did today! I watched him for a full five minutes trying his hardest to walk through the spiders web without getting caught to claim his dinner - which he did! (the spider will catch something else, there's plenty about!) Read about these flies here.

Sunny day today, did the gym, survived, knee is holding up as I have a support on it! Will go every other day hopefully, although have been told only 3 times a week max...er... we'll see! Out tonight to a coffee evening at the local big house for the parish, met lots of friends, walked there & back, oh the social life! lol ;) xxx
