Arundel
This is a very late posting.
We all piled into D’s car this morning (dogs included) and drove to Littlehampton to take the dogs for a walk on the beach. It was overcast and there was a very strong, cold wind. We braved the wind and had a good walk on the beach. The puppy did very well in the wind on the pebbles. On the way to the beach we went by a tiny park that was studded with trees and chairs that had been “yarn bombed”. It was rather delightful. Back home we relaxed for a while, had a light lunch, then walked into Arundel for a look around. We stopped for coffee and cake in a lovely café called Green and Cole, then walked some more, collected the ham for Sunday’s lunch and, finally, stopped at The King’s Arms for a beer - G&T for me. It’s a “proper” English pub, just lovely. After more relaxing at home we walked back into Arundel for dinner at Thai Time. It was a lovely meal and we had a most enjoyable evening. We strolled back home and piled into bed just before midnight.
Apologies, but I am still way behind dipping into fellow Blippers’ journals and responding to comments. There just doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day at the moment.
The blip shows scenes from Arundel and the beach. The extra is the “yarn bombed” park.
