"I Can Read It"

Ellie went to her first friend's birthday party; it was really fun with lovely weather from 11 AM to 2 PM today. The party was in a new park with a nice playground and a covered area with permanent picnic tables. There were lots of activities for the girls; two were simple art projects that could be done whenever the girls wanted to do them; breaking a Pinata was a hit but the girls could not get it open so the birthday girl's dad took swings at it until it broke. The Blip photo is Ellie reading a birthday to the birthday girl when she said she couldn't read it...as it turned out she couldn't read the handwritten message in cursive. :-)))

Ellie's dance recital was last night and today; the children performed the same dance for three shows. Ellie's little Jazz class did really well; Ellie felt very good about it. Since two of the shows were today, with that birthday party in between the shows, it was a busy day for Ellie. See extra photos if you have time.
