Bolam Lake

Today EP & I both had a day off work and with the weather unusually fine, we decided a bike ride was in order. We were both pretty tired from work so didn't want anything too strenuous and picked a relatively flat route west of Morpeth through some country roads and taking in this country park at Bolam.

The difficulty with cycling and blipping is that I'm frequently spotting potential blips but have to refrain from stopping off to take the picture otherwise we wouldn't actually get very far. This is a shot which I took at the end of our ride in the late afternoon sunshine.
