Quiche and tarts!
I love pastry! Sometimes it works out better than others....I was happy with this batch.
We have so many eggs, that frittatas are often on the menu. I like a quiche as a special treat and I even had home grown spinach to add. The little tarts are orange and ginger preserve, yummy even if I say it myself.
Our busiest morning at the village hall, a record 81 bacon butties served in just a couple of hours along with numerous teas and coffees. Such a great vibe in there today, some very happy people from 9 months to 90+ years.
Today has been a good day.
