Family Celebrations

Today has been our whole family get together to celebrate Henry's 21st birthday. The celebrations just keep going!

A very busy morning of preparing food for the party. All done by Mollie, who has worked so hard to make Henry's birthday special. She cooked and organised all morning, and continued as our guests started to arrive. Firstly Dan and Viki, who had coffee with us, then Jenny and Gemma arrived. Gemma immediately joined Mollie in the kitchen - her happy place, and soon afterwards, Manda's family arrived but sadly Cam couldn't join us as he is studying hard for 3rd year exams on Monday. Finally Jon's parents with Allison and Stephen arrived as the food was being served up. Jon having stood over the barbeque for a good hour, did an unenviable job. It was so nice for us to have John and Win to visit as they hadn't seen all the alterations that Jon has done to the house. Especially the kitchen and cloakroom. It has been at least 6 or 7 years, I may be wrong, but I think the last time everyone was here, was 2016 just after we moved and Jon had put up the conservatory.

We proceeded to enjoy a lovely day in the garden together. Lots of chatter and most of the food eaten. The weather was blowy but stayed bright. We gave everyone a tour of the new caravan, and the boys were able to show Grandad their motorbikes. I took a few photos and so did Henry. I'll share on Facebook.

Now feeling shattered, I think an early night is in order.
