Coming Through The Gap

After last night’s sleepover, Sophie joined us for the Park Run this morning. Here she is with Tess, coming through what is known as Rice Gap, the narrow passage between the two fields that make up the course, which is named after the person who set up and still coordinates Street Park Run.

Chris and I had already finished having run round together - he beat me by two seconds in a sprint, or what passed for one! - to the line. A sign of the times!

After breakfast, we took Sophie down to the pool for a swim and a picnic. We were all exhausted by the time we took her home late afternoon.
