Courgettes…

This morning was very dismal and when I took Libby for a walk I was surprised to find very few people around walking dogs or doing watersports on the river like a usual Saturday? Later I went to the allotment and picked lots of raspberries. I went a long way round via Hampton Court and saw lots of signs ready for the Flower Show which opens on Tuesday. The temporary bridge over Hampton Court Road from the Car Park is in position too. I had not planned to go this year but now I will be going on Thursday as a friend has been given a couple of free tickets! 

No watering needed at the allotment as it rained a lot overnight. At last all our veg seem to be growing. The courgettes are making good progress as are all the beans. 

A restful afternoon at home watching some sport…tennis from Eastbourne, the Test Match and the start of the Tour de France!
