Harris the Harrier

On a bracing walk through the back lanes and paths of Sandwell Valley this afternoon, we came across this Harris Harrier. Tethered to his owner's glove, he was off for a flight in the fields around the valley.This predator headed for some nesting rooks as soon as he was unleashed. Its frantic owners then went running back up paths and byways to get to the copse before it turned into a corpse-fest.
