Dead rose head

Unlike my hellebores, my roses are looking dreadful.  Won't be long until I set to them for their winter prune.  Lovely day today to be out in the garden and doing a few chores and tidy ups.  The lawn actually needs mowing but it's sooo wet.  We really need a good, windy day to dry things out a bit then I'll be able to run the mower around but until then it will continue to look shaggy...
