Nature Diary... Little Mouse Crown
This splendid little Cactus has produced at least one new flower every day since the middle of May this year!
Each flower only lasts a day and this incredible plant is still producing buds which open to display these pretty little flowers.
I've owned this plant for many years and have never known it to produce so many buds over such a very long time as it has this year.
It's outside near other plants during the daytime when the weather is kind, and is brought indoors every evening.
As the weather gets colder it remains inside in a sheltered porch throughout the winter months.
It has no prickly spines, is very slow growing, and is a delight to own.
