White dinghy
I was on an RSPB trip to Auskerry today. Last time we got a very nice view of a male red-backed shrike, but nothing in the way of scarce migrants today. There were very noisy arctic terns, black guillemots, eiders, puffins etc. A couple of times I almost stepped on eider ducks on eggs- they are very reluctant to leave them as predators will quickly move in on the eggs. The puffins were all on the water. When they come to land they shoot right into their burrows as, again, predators await. Quite a few seals about too, and they were singing.
More here on the horrible new flickr.
The dinghy belongs to the sole resident of the island, Simon.
