The bluebell Wood

Headed down to Lancashire today to catch up with a Good Mate and his good lady - Mum and Dad were looking after the boys, so it was great just to head of at our own pace -

One of the places I wanted to visit whilst down in the lakes was Rannerdale where the Bluebells would have been fab at this time of year - but alas we never made it - however, Jonathan did take us to this wonderful wood and a good time was spent trying to capture the scene.

Unfortunately my main lens had a bit of a malfunction so I put on the 105mm macro lens - not as wide angled as I would have liked but I hope I still managed to capture the scene and do it a wee bit justice!!
