Love it!

I went walkabout up on the plot this morning, when the drizzle stopped, just being nosy, checking on others progress. That's when I spotted this gorgeous poppy, love the colour, love it's shaggy petals, so I nipped back to my shed grabbed the phone & returned to snap it, a reminder to look for seed.
Back in the shed before I got wet, made myself a coffee, then sat enjoying the peace & quiet, hoping the rain would stop before I needed to head home. Sitting there quietly paid dividends. I had a light bulb moment. I was contemplating the purchase/making of a fruit cage while looking at one of the temporary measures I'd put in place... I made a purchase later in the day, I'll share if it's a success.
I walked Indie, then Mum & I went to NA. I had to collect my glasses from Specsavers.
Back home just after 2pm.
My brother dropped in to see Mum yesterday, bringing cream cakes, & fresh meat (pack of 2 duck breast). I suggested that Mum had one with new potatoes, savoy cabbage & carrots for her meal but I could tell she was'nt sure about the cooking so offered to bring the duck back with me & make the meal for her.
A little hand sewing project while watching The Chase. Forgot I needed to buy needles for my machine.
