An unusual day

After all of these lockdown years, I am a bit lost and confused when among people outside of home. The RC lady who comes and takes me to walks is a real saviour. She does not come very often, but she stays for as long as it is needed, and she is in no hurry. All others leave within minutes, the grocery deliveryman and the nurses. The pedicurist stays for an hour, but even she leaves in a hurry. And there are no others, friends or relatives. There are none.

My new friend P is different. She is focused on me, she does everything for me. She walks slowly for me even though she could run! We had a nice visit in the old church yesterday.

On the way home we stopped at my old hairdresser. P walked ahead, went in as the door was open and set up an appointment for haircut next Tuesday! I haven't had a haircut for how many years!? But I will have next Tuesday. No wonder I am confused. :-)
