Wee Baby Robin

Yesterday I thought I spied a young Robin in the garden and then this morning there he was, bold as brass, sitting in the tree while I hung up the bird feeders.

With my brother arriving this morning, and the car passing it’s MOT, along with K we headed to the park this afternoon to the Memory Café, part of the town’s annual music festival: “A special afternoon for those living with dementia and their carers. A chance to enjoy the festival atmosphere in a safe and welcoming space.” The event was officially opened by Giuseppi Dell’Anno, the winner of last year’s Great British Bake Off (he lives nearby), then we were entertained by musicians, jugglers and bubble blowers before everyone joined in with a good old singalong, including hand actions! After weeks of warm, sunny, dry weather, today was much cooler with drizzle on and off all day. The winter slippers are back out!
