Red sky at night

Newcastle city centre on Wednesday night. Had tickets for Michael Bourne's Sleeping Beauty ballet at the Tyneside cinema with two friends. 
Just a few minutes away, a large blaze had taken hold of a derelict building and the central motorway was closed for hours! We had no idea. We were busy finding somewhere to grab something to eat, enjoying the ballet and travelling to & from our cars (left in Jesmond) by underground metro.
