Canine Freestyle Competition
The boys and I went to Copenhagen today for a Canine Freestyle Competition. It was so so so hot! It was almost unbearable to move, that was how hot it was.
The boys coped well with the sudden summer though. Hero placed 2nd in Advanced Freestyle and Biscuit placed 3rd. Well done boys! I am very proud of them.
My friend Helle did really well too. She has Hero's sister Jazz and they were 3rd in their class (Advanced Heelwork To Music) after having performed a lovely routine . They have worked so hard to get the routine ready and it was great to see them be successful!
Beat did not compete, but he had a good day out and met lots of friends that could rub his belly and give him a hug. He was a happy chap.
After the show, I checked the Sat Nav to see how far I was from where my mum is buried. It wasn't far at all - only 10 km, so I decided to stop there on the way home. It turned out that it was 10 km going directly through the center of Copenhagen! The traffic was awful and it took 45 min. to drive 10km.
In the middle of the worst and most hectic traffic, a car pulled up next to me and the driver threw a bag og yummy dog treats through my open car window! He was a salesman (dog food) and had seen the dogs in my car. It was quite amazing really - in these days when the media talk about road rage. A smile that made the hectic traffic easier to cope with.
We never managed to find any flowers to put on my mum's grave, but Biscuit and I went to visit and it was good to be there. We will bring flowers next time.
