I think this image appears on most marketing shots for the Faroes, but that doesn’t make it any less beautiful especially in today’s warm sunshine. What you can’t see in this photo is that the cliff edge under our feet was full of puffins sunning themselves outside their burrows. I will back blip them when I get home.

Our Faroese guides keep telling us that we are being extraordinarily lucky with the weather!

We are docked in Vestmanna and this morning went for a boat trip along the spectacular coastline then a bus ride to several beauty spots this afternoon.
