Granny Sitting

We are both a little tired out after a late night last night. We both had to take part in a local gala today - I was taking part in a dog training demo and husband no 1 was there with his work.

We are now 'Granny Sitting'. Gran has been poorly and in hospital but she is home now. She is being cared for around the clock by her daughter (husbands mum). To give her a break, we are round tonight for a while.

Today would have been her 69th Wedding Anniversary. We have been learning all about that day and how the wedding was brought forward because her husband to be was only granted 48hrs leave ahead of D Day.

It's so important to know all of this about your family history. I could listen to her all night.
