Peebles Mural

This is the first time that I've seen this mural of Peebles, set down Pennel's Close.

Completed in 2015, Michael Jessing, an international artist living and working in Peebles, lead the production based on ideas and contributions by the community. The mural, measuring 30 ft by 8 ft, depicts the history and culture of Peebles from Prehistoric times to the future, in seven panels:
A. Prehistoric to Mediæval
B. Mediæval to 1600
C. 1600's to industrial
D. 1800's to Twentieth Century, at the Railway Station
E. 1800's to Twentieth Century, Peebles High Street
F. Present and Recent Times
G. Future.
