Bus to Lauriston Castle grounds. A wee walk round the grounds then a seat in the shade until friend arrived.

Spotted an orchid enroute round to shady seat.

Kyoto Peace Garden pond is filled with duckweed & camera phone was struggling with the colours. Lovely acer contrast with very green grass after the rains & blue sky.

Coffee & cake & chat in the burny hot sun.
