Tre Cimes, Dolomites

One of the Tre Cimes that we walked around this morning. We were torn between starting just after sunrise and missing the crowds or starting later when the light would be on the rocks. We compromised with a 7 am start and there weren’t too many people about and the climbers quickly separated off. It was another spectacular walk which toured around the three peaks, passing three refuges along the way. The forecast was much better than expected.

I have added our favourite flower that we see each day and a dramatic shot from yesterday evening as extras. At 8.30 pm we headed back down to the previous campsite but it was definitely worth paying the parking cost of driving up to spend the night at 2300 mètres.
