My prayer tonight

Iris has been moved to a new ward. This disturbed her and she was quite upset today. She called me to come in soon to visit.

The three other ladies in her bay have dementia. This afternoon may have been a particularly difficult one but there was a lot of upsetting and aggressive talk and behaviour and I left full of admiration for the nurses.

This poster is on the wall in the corridor by the hospital chapel. My prayer as I drove home was for peace for that ward tonight.
