Had to go into town to receive a new server. It arrived promptly and we put it into the rack. Rest of the day I spent faffing around rebuilding one of the compute nodes. I don't think we had done that before. So some bits didn't work other bits stopped working because software packages progressed. 

Went a slightly different way into town to pass the ghost house. It is still very much empty.
