Small Tortoiseshell

A hot and sunny day spent at home.

Did some preparation to the garage door frame prior to painting; cut the front and side lawns; took delivery of some (heavy) fencing panels; and finished re-fixing the trellis screening to the LPG tank area.

The lavender in the back garden has been buzzing all day. Around a dozen small tortoiseshell butterflies and hundreds of buzzing bees. Also a small white and meadow brown.

A visit by Martin in the Ocado Cherry Van this evening.
