Across the bay

We went to Deganwy today between Conwy and Llandudno to visit the indomitable B( my headteacher from 2010 to 2016 in Essex) She’s from this area and retired back here, has done up a house with magnificent views over Conwy bay. Her mother who is 101 lives nearby, as do her sister and brother, but her sons their wives and grandchildren are at opposite ends of the country and her partner is somewhere else, so she spends quite a bit of time away! We had a lovely lunch and catch up on all her news since last year, a walk up The Vadre to admire the all round view of Conwy and the Great Orme, then a walk along the prom and pier in Llandudno. Just like old times when we slip into “ whatever happened to….?”
