Building!

Today was the day!

There's been all sorts of plans for this blessed pond since I started it a year ago or so.
I finally decided that re building the wall was the best option.

Originally this brick quarter circle was underneath a large square wooden raised border and looking like someone tried to demolish it and gave up, almost all of the top bricks, and most of the second row were missing

We have been beach combing and stealing tidying up the old bricks that appear from various old midden areas

This was my first attempt t being a brickie and I am really pleased with the end result

Also have more slate chippings and some driftwood to go around the edges but that's for later in the week..... Once I am sure it won't fall down and kill us all!
