It’s All Over

Barely a trace of AFD23 remains to be seen in Falmouth, a few defaced event and road closure signs remain. Defaced with the 60’s and 70’s CND sign spray painted on them, not seen that logo for a long time.
Mrs S and I are ‘dog tired’, I can sit in the garden and read, unfortunately Mrs S was on a long day shift. Things have a way of working out though, I dropped Mrs S off at 7:00am, fifteen minutes later I was shopping in a quiet supermarket, then car filled with petrol and washed, Paddy’s food picked up and home at around 9:30am.
Housework finished by midday and then I got to relax with a coffee and my book.

The was a steady trickle of e-mails and messages throughout the day with the odd phone call but having got into the habit of enjoying ‘airplane’ mode I ignored them. The rugby club ones are looking to ‘kick on’ from pre Sea Shanty/AFD23 but having realised that knocking myself out trying to complete a multitude of tasks won’t help anyone, least of all me, they will not get looked at until Thursday.

Paddy and I went out for our walk where I snapped the Poppy’s growing in a crack in the pavement.
