Snail's pace
So much to do in our new abode and garden, but progress at present seems to be at snail's pace.
I actually slept again after MrM left this morning, and was reasonably clear-headed today. First 'job' of the day was to book so-called pre-sale (quite clearly they are for sale) tickets for a gig by 'The Musical Box' in York next March. Then managed to sort out quite a lot of the stuff that was cluttering the spare room - still much more to do, but it's a good start.
In to Holmfirth for an appointment with the new GP this afternoon - the first time I've walked to the surgery, and pleased to discover that it only took about 40 minutes. It will be interesting to see what effect a slight tweak to my BP medication will have. A positive one hopefully, though possibly not on the blood pressure!
Another good evening at the jazz club in Huddersfield. We went in early to claim last week's raffle prize of pie and mash with a pint, which turned out to be very tasty. Sadly we had to leave early, due to tomorrow's 4.00am wake-up...
