They ARE quite different.
Now all I have to do it establish the not-a-Dandelion amongst the back Grass.
I refer to it as not-a-Dandelion as the most accurate name to date. I had Hawk's/Goat's Beard lurking somewhere in the fastness/vastness(?) of the noddle. Investigation tells me there is a Goats' Beard - BUT - looking up also, Hawksbeard. (I've seen Goats with Beards, but NEVER a Hawk) I see I'm spoilt for choice and it'd take something resembling a Botanist to untangle them.
There's a Beaked Hawksbeard: a Smooth one: a rough one and a North one, at least. Ya pays yer money and you teks yer choice?
