Sposa Bagnata, Sposa Fortunata

An Italian saying meaning that the bride who gets wet on her big day is going to be lucky. A good omen for my friend Fiona’s daughter who got married this afternoon. Thankfully the sun came out for her this evening.
Busy day today as I was volunteering in the morning and then Mr P and I had to drive into Gala to sort out bank stuff. We had a quick bite at T42 before heading home via St Joseph’s to see the bride and then I headed back out for a walk with the Curry Club girls.
We had gin and tonics in the garden this evening to celebrate Carole finishing up for the summer.
