Cricket Friars Lane

After prayer walking, we drove to Évora - I wanted to get several photos printed, and Mike bought a new portable workbench after the one he was given collapsed under him (yet another injury).

This is Travessa dos Frades Grilos*, a lane off the street the photography shop is on.

Almost unbearable walking in the heat... our only criteria for lunch was somewhere with covered parking and air con; the food was definitely of secondary importance. Weirdly, the food court at the only shopping centre is in the open, so it's awful in either the cold or the heat.

Gratefuls:
- really pleased with the printing of a set of photos of the Adega, which I'll put in an album and give to the Engenheiro (though the lady doing the printing talked to me so much I felt exhausted by the end!)
- an amazing water bottle each from Netty; the water was still cold after being in a boiling car most of the day
- cool enough by 9pm to sit outside to eat Mike's bread (baked in the caravan) with garlicky mushrooms
