A great day out with 2 groups of people from a cruise ship. Mainly Americans and Australians. All a good laugh and very enthusiastic about Orkneys archaeology.

They were also very enthusiastic about our drivers answer to my question as to whether he preferred Scapa whisky or Highland Park… he said that he liked to drink Highland Park in the evening but considered Scapa to be a ‘breakfast whisky’.

They then bought a fairly large selection of both breakfast and evening varieties at the Skara Brae shop so I’m really hoping they all enjoy a dram with their porridge tomorrow morning.
