France!

You can recognise a French road by the wonderful avenues of trees provided for shade. We needed them on our drive to the gîte as the sun was at full volume.
We started off in a convoy of three cars and had a stop at one of those glorious French supermarkets, and had to restrain ourselves as there is so much to choose from. After a bite of lunch we continued on our way, eventually arriving early evening. 
The gîte was everything we had hoped for with a large pool and a choice of bedrooms.
An early night for all.
