Redonela to Pontevedra

A very different feel to the Camino today as we walked with large groups of pilgrims on the central route. I met up with the Leeds chaps at coffee time in Arcade, probably for the last time as they are following the Portuguese Central all the way to Santiago and will arrive a day before me.

The morning was relatively cool at 23 degrees and I was in Pontevedra around lunch time. Another coffee and a snack before I could check in and out again to explore the town which I had briefly visited last year. The afternoon temperature rocketed and I sat in the shade overlooking the Franciscan Convent allegedly founded by St Francis of Assisi eating ice cream.

According to the information on the way marker, extra, it’s 83 km to Santiago. Not loading.
