Lilac!

We had a young pigeon hit one of our windows today and it got up after a few minutes and waddled behind a plant pot and there it sat for 6 hours! We have been keeping an eye on it all day, put out some water and food near it but didn't hold out much hope for its survival.
Then at about 5.45pm when a few drops of rain fell it waddled again, flapped it's wings and walked up the garden a bit. Our hopes were lifted and then rewarded as it flew very shakily into our neighbour's tree. Fingers crossed for the youngster.
