A Lucky Escape

Woke this morning to gentle rain - it was quite cool as well…so no early walk today. I did pop to Wetherby to collect my new glasses..caught the bus..it only takes about 20 minutes each way…was back home by 11 for coffee!!

Went out for a walk after lunch - setting off in fairly bright conditions. About half way through my trip ..at the furthest point from home (of course), the clouds rolled in and I was seriously expecting a soaking….anyway, apart from stopping to grab this shot, I quickened my pace and got home just as the rain started.

Managed to get my washing in off the line before it poured. A lucky escape for me and the washing!!
