Who lives behind this door?

Whilst walking down an alley way in Alcester I came upon this doorway. What caught my eye was the plant growing through the gap in the top of the door.

Went to a lunch today where the after lunch speaker, David Moulson, talked about the benefactions board in St Nicholas Church in Alcester. Its nine years off being 400 years old and the only one of its kind in England. Fascinating to learn about and surprising that Alcester is the centre of the universe when it comes to such an old and unique benefactions board.

The purpose of the board was to record acts of charity given by various benefactors from 1532 to 1904. The gifts enabled the town to build alms house, schools and the town hall. These gifts were recorded on parchment and the scrolls stored in this cupboard.
