Camping

I've been on my first camping trip volunteering with the Explorer Scouts! The young folks are doing thie Bronze D or E expedition, and day 1 went pretty well! Other than 1 person having to pull out due to being ill, the rest of the group all made it back to camp safely - althought one group was about 3 hours slower than the rest!

After everyone had arrived the leaders got a cheeky takeaway - and although I did feel a bit bad for the young folks who were having to carry and cook their own food (that's one of the requirements of the award) I still ate my chips and donnor meat!
