Just got these books

These are in excellent condition for used books. Bargains! I am getting through some of the books quite quickly. The current one is A Match Made in Devon by Cathy Bramley which I started on the 24th and am now on Chapter 34.
Did a little weeding and dead-heading in the garden today but it's soul-destroying as all the hard work I'd done before the heatwave seems totally cancelled out - the weeds are everywhere! I started doing some cleaning but got fed up and didn't do a lot. Pegged the washing out in very iffy circumstance ie it looked like rain was imminent but it brightened up and a lot of it dried before a shower made us bring the rest in.
No idea where the day has gone today. 
Started to plan a caching trip. Not been geocaching for ages as it's no fun in a heatwave. We are probably going next Monday as we have commitments on other days.
Terry has a date for his CT scan - earliest was on 20th of July. We were hoping for something sooner but that's the best they can do.
We made the final payment on our mortgage so we own the house properly now!
