Pond lining

With impending rain later this week we felt we needed to get a wiggle on and fit our pond liner so we can divert the water down pipe from our roof to fill our pond.
So, we purchased a huge black liner from the fish nursery in Horsham, it cost over £300, and weighed so much I couldn’t lift it!
Today we ( Mr U&L, me, Rosie, Ethan and Charlii) managed to get it in situ in the pond - it took quite an effort I can tell you - and fill it with a little water from the garden tap - just to settle the bottom ( luckily we don’t have a hosepipe ban here at the mo). This is Mr U&L and Rosie barefoot in the pond straightening the liner as the first bit of water was added.
